Default surging idle

I,m having surging idle problems. When i come to a stop idle will surge to 2000rpms and slowly settle to 1000 in about 15 sec. I have Efilive and the only thing i can see is timing is dropping to 8-10 degrees at .08 and 800-1000 rpms even though the timing table is at 22 degrees, What could be pulling my timing?I have replaced IAC sensor and TP sensor and no change.

If you are as stock as your sig, I'd guess an air leak...

Do a search here on 'bucking' which is closely associated with the surging problem. A lot of ideas you can try esp. since you got your own tuning software.

There is a bunch of stuff on the EFILive forum that addresses this, as well as some in depth discussions in this forum. Do some searching. IDLE
