Lightbulb Disable code -- impossible to complete diagnostic test?

Are there any codes that, when disabled, will make it impossible for the computer to complete a diagnostic test or "be ready" ?

Anything listed in the readiness tests can cause the car to never show ready if SES is disabled.

Just set all of the im monitors to yes and don't worry about it, if there is a concern of one of the monitors not being reported as yes or ready.

Well, I'm using LS1Edit and yesterday I made sure all the AIR, EGR, and O2 codes were set to SES "On" and "Type X=turned off". I also did it with P0300. I still have EVAP so I left those stock. I passed the last two years, but I'm sure I was getting by with 2 not-readys for AIR and EGR because they were totally off with "Off" and "type X". I just put on pacesetter Y and Tsp catd y a few weeks ago and was getting an O2 heater code, P0135. So this time I'm just doing "On" and "type X" for all O2s as well.

I never checked how long it took for all my tests to go "ready."

I read on other threads where people said that using "On" and "type X" would cause them to complete immediately but after a couple of drive cycles and about 60 miles, I am still seeing every single test incomplete according to AutoTap. :/

Follow-up:
I drove about 300 miles and Autotap 2.05 was still showing all my tests incomplete. I went in anyway and passed the test. I left the test station and check with Autotap again... still showing all incompletes. go figure.

I have had several codes "enabled, no error reported" and got the
tests all complete. The test is allowed to run and it always "passes".
This is the kind of "turned off" you want. Some tests depend on
others, check all of your code "switches" and set them all right.

This a good topic to review. It was my undertsanding (I haven't checked whether my test is complete lately) that you set the emissions tests to enable but no MIL set. What is recommended method? Can we get a list for the various options to set?

I turn off all the emission codes "No error reported," and CHECK the SES box. All the tests are always shown as "ready."
