Default Where to get a tune in Fort Worth?

I'm just wondering which shops people would reccomend to take my car to to get it tuned. I live a little south of Fort Worth, Texas but anywhere within an hour or so is fine with me. I know there are several shops in the area but I'm looking for actual experiences (good or bad.) Thanks for the help.

Nobody has had their car tuned in or near Fort Worth? How about LG? Anyone?

You can try Texas Speed. I believe they are near FW.

Thanks for the shop names but has anyone actually had their car worked on by these people?

I was in town visiting a friend this summer and I went out to start my car and it wouldn’t start. My buddy and I determined it was the PCM so I had to buy a new one from the Chevy parts house. I have a heads/cam car and needed to get it tuned. So we did a search and came up with Xtreme Horsepower. They did a great job on the tune. I would recommend them to anybody looking for quality work.

Awesome, I actually just called them today since they're about ten minutes from my house and will be getting the car tuned either later this week or early the next. Thanks for the post though, it puts my mind at ease.

How did your tune go? Was thinking about taking my car to Xtreme.

It went well, I gained 21hp through the tune and everyone was very nice to talk to and they definitely know these engines. The only gripes I have are they set the fans to turn on at 192 degrees, which seems very early to me, and they forgot to turn off the rear O2 sensors. Neither is a big deal and they're more than willing to take care of it, I just haven't had time to get my car back to them.

don't get tuned somewhere where the tuner doesn't know archaic Linux/Unix commands and utils that are not used at all whatsoever in the tuning of a car? WTF are you talking about?

Not sure I follow.

su = super user
dmesg = diagnostic messege
lspci = list all PCI devices

What does that have to do with Xtreme's tuning capabilities?
I do know that you had a "bad" experience with them.

Oh well...I talked to them on the phone this morning and sounds like they have an awesome setup. If anyone is worried about them, just give them a call and tell them what you need.
