Default Car won't stay running NEED HELP M6 - A3 swap

Ok I just finished doing a M6 - A3 conversion, and we have not installed the pedals yet but my guy wanted to start the car up. He has not wired anything from the clutch switch yet, so he jumped the solenoid under the hood and he said the car fired up but didn't stay running.

WHy wouldn't the car stay running?

What's the best way to wire the clutch switch so I start the car, I don't have a neutral safety switch(I don't think). I'm using a stock A4 shifter right now and stock M6 wiring.

The clutch switch will not keep it from running.

I wasn't there so I can't say if the security light was flashing or if the fuse was blown, once i get the pedals i will be there for start up and will evaluate more.

Just wanted to know if this was something cause by me not starting the car with the clutch switch jumped.

what have you changed in the PCM to adjust for the increased load at idle of the stall vs. a disengaged clutch?

Nothing has been changed in the PCM.

The car is going to Slowhawk as soon as I get it back, I know Don will fix whatever issue I have, i'm just stressing over what the issue could be.

That's what I assumed was happening but I wasn't sure if that was possible
