How can I tell what year harness I have?

i bought a ls1 with an auto harness. I want to buy a manual harness without changing over the engine sensors. Is there any way to look at the harness I have and tell what year it is? The guy told me it was an 01 but the block numbers come back 98+. Any info would help. Thanks in advance.

How many pins are on the coolant temp sensor? Is it a two wire sender or three?

does it have EGR, if so, it is a 98-00 no egr, then a 01-02

What does the pcm look like, single sided, or does it look like a large double sided heatsink?
