Where do you maount the MAFT where the wires will still reach and it will clear the hood when shut?

Facing the front of the car, I mounted the MAFT on the right of the air box where it slopes down into the engine bay (the large plastic piece that holds the air filter).

If you mount where it slopes up, the hood will hit.
