Default Idle tuning?

I'm following the tuning guide from slowcar.net, and all he says on there for tuning idle is to set the idle speed to what you desire then make sure the IAC's are between 30-50..but doesn't say anything about LTFT's or STFT's...The reason I ask is because at Idle my LT's are at about 25% and when I'm cruising they go down. So far I've adjusted the VE table from 400-1200 rpms by 60%, drill TB, adjusted for the new fuel injectors, set my idle to 850, and also adjusted the MAF table by 109% to try and lower it a bit. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

Don't worry about STFT's. And just check the LTFT at part-throttle. They should be zero or negative.

So pretty much what you are saying is that at idle you don't need to worry about the fuel trims?
