Default Pcm reprogram after engine swap a must?

I need to know if I need reprgraming for my 01 Pcm.I did a engine swap using a 00 longblock into 01 pcm programed vehicle.The cam on the 00 Ls1 is slighlty bigger than the 01.Im stil using the 28.8 01 injectors and ls6 intake....Performance seems to be down some bit.Any info is greatly appreciated.

I'd like to like to know this also. I am putting a new motor in soon with a 223 225 with .612/.612 cam soon.

Im pretty sure youre going to need custom programing.
