Default 02 Z06 Vet PCM problems with rear gear change

took out OEM 3.42 rear gear and put in 4.10. Speedometer is off as we would think, but the speedometer shops, and two Corvette dealers know of no way to make the computer adjust to the new gear. Does anyone have a suggestion?

The VSS is driven off the axle, not the driveshaft. Therefore there is no need to change/rescale for new gears.Did you change tires &/or rims? Overall diameter does change axle revs per unit distance. You can rescale tire diameter with LS1Edit.

I installed 3.73s in and until I made the change via tuning the PCM, the speedo and elapsed distances were incorrect which was proven via GPS.

Made the change in PCM and then GPS and PCM match as to speed and distance.

Its a simple PCM tuning change for gear and tire size which are values in the PCM and if PCM could auto detect for those changes they would not be adjustable in PCM.
