Question Different use for MAF Translator, question...

My car presently has a great HPTuners tune in it, and car runs very well for it's mods imo.

I hope to run some INDEX CLASS Racing this year but since my car runs 11.67 at last time out (with a bunch of 11.70's as well), I figured it'd be easier to slow it down to 12.0 class than it would be to try and run 11.50 index class consistently.

My plan would be to add a MAF Translator to it and slow the car down (as needed) by richening up wot a/f mixture (also, as needed). That way "tune" is not changed except on the days i need to tweak car to slow it down...

my original idea was to lower shift points, but since my tuner isn't at track with me I'd never be able to accurately dial the ET in like I could by other means.

any thoughts/suggestions/ideas, since me running laptop tune myself is not a possibility.
