Default need a little help

I'm replacing my oil pressure sensor and can't get the wiring connector that plugs in the top to mate up.The sensor threaded in fine, I also double checked the Part # and confirmed it with pictures. Anyone have any ideas?( 00 z28 m6)

Are you sure they didn't give you a '98 sensor? They're different from the '99-'02. '98 is 12559781, yours should be 12562267.

Check the connector on your harness for how many pins it has in it, then check the sensor, my guess is they gave you the wrong one and you have a 1 pin connector on your harness, but the new pressure sensor has 2 pins.

I did some checking and my p\n is 12562267. I really don't want to remove the intake, are there any other connectors that should be hanging loose back there? I've been riding with a friend so the car isn't driven much but i'm dropping it off for a STS install on Fri and I want it to be problem free.
