Default Is LC1 waterproof?

My Lc1 hasn't been working the last couple of times i have drivin the car so tonight i decided to find out why. After going through all the wiring making sure all is good there I decide to unplug the sensor from the LC1 module and to my surprise water comes pooring out of it. I thought these were suppost to be water tight. The LC1 has been inside my finderwell behind the plastic inside the finder. Is this my fault or a faulty unit? Aren't you suppost to be able to mount these under the car or are they suppost to be inside the cab? I think I am about done with this company it is becoming not worth it anymore. Two bad sensors and now this.

I thought they were weatherproof as well. It has a groumet in there thought that was suppost to seal it. I have just had a lot of problems with innovate and there wideband sensors and now this with the LC1. It is alot of money that has been wasted if I can't get it replaced.

I have had mine under the car for a couple of years with no problems. I might just have to check it out.
