Just finnished removing my Air pump and lines (01 TA), I pluged the small vac line coming off the solenoid (drivers side near back of intake that used to go in the Y valve for the air lines)

My problem is my car will not idle any more. It idles a 1500rpm also the spedo comes up to about 15mph (i am in neutral)??? If i put my clutch in it stops and everything is good. What is wrong?? I left the air pump fuse in also. as i did this I also changed plugs if that helps??

It sounds like a vacum leak.

did you plug all the vacume lines not being used anymore

what did you find out ........a buddy is having the same trouble acts like a vacuum leak but can't find one.

Funny story,

I was replacing my rear-end the same time I did the Air pump Delete and my driveshaft was off, so when i started the car the trans would slowly rotate
(M6) so the computer see's motion and drives up the idle up.

I put the drive shaft on and i have perfect idle. no leaks anywhere.
