Default Surging issues

I installed heads & a cam this weekend, and so far pretty good. The car idles good, but I have a slight surge between 1600-1900rpms in 1st-3rd gears. Also, when I come to a stop the car wants to die but doesnt...what can I do about that? TIA

Well don't know much about surging; my M6 with TR224 has never done it but you could try a higher RAF and a little less timing.

As far as the "want's to die coming to a stop" I have seen a lot of that. A faster idle, lower VE, higher RAF and larger TB hole helped mine with that, but mainly it "learns it's self out" with driving time. Every time I reset the PCM it has to learn it all over again.

Thanks for the advise. I'm going to drill the TB out this weekend and yes, give it some time. I've got like 8 miles on the car since the install, I'm sure it needs a bit more.
