Default 2-bar sd question

i have a motor that is built for boost but i ran out of money at the moment to boost it!! CR is around 9.3-1 and i have a 2-bar map on it blah blah... question is will my car run ok NA with that CR, that map, and a sd tune? can i even do this??

Yes, it will run ok, if it's tuned ok. It won't be a beast or anything, but it will be ok.

I ran my car for a while with the turbo in the exhaust (rear-mount) but not plumbed up to the intake yet, just to make sure I had the driveability stuff covered. It was a little sluggish up top because I had the timing advance already set low in anticipation of boost, even though it wasn't boosted yet. (also I babied it because I didn't want to overspeed the turbo with no load on the cold side)

N/A will be down a bit on power compared to higher compression. The 2 bar SD won't have quite as much resolution. The bottom line is that you have NOTHING to worry about (except money,of course).
