Please educate me! I’m considering buying an OBD II Scan tool but not unfamiliar with what all options are needed or nice to have. What are the differences between the three Snap-on models: SOLUS, Vantage PRO and ETHOS and the one way out of my price range the MODIS. There are a few other models that I was looking at first of which was the OTC Genisys and MAC Mentor. Which looks to be made by the same company. Is one better than the other? Also what exactly does a graphing scanner allow you to do? Then as far as software and attachments, what is important to know or have? I would like to be able to hook-up to domestic and foreign vehicles all types of years. Sorry for all the questions but I’m uneducated when it come to this. I was debating to put this under PCM Diagnostics and Tuning or Tools and Fabrication so if it needs to be moved let me know.
