Predator Questions (Quick Help)
Ok I bought a predator a while back and have jsut started to really play w/ it. First off what is WOT ( I know it means wide open throttle) but how far open does the TB have to be to be considered WOT??? Next I had my car dynoed and my A/F slow drops to about 12.7. How much does the percent equal when adding fuel?? I also have to remove some timing because I am getting some knock around 5000 and above.

Re: Predator Questions (Quick Help)
Ok, from middle to +5% on fuel if adding a total of 1.5 afr on a wideband. So, if your running 14.0:1 and add all to the right, you'll be like 12.5:1 (perfect for N2O). It is about .3 per 1% of + / - fuel. Believe WOT is seen as 89%, or its close. So your car is running richer at the top, kinda opposite from most cars which tend to lean out at top. What was the rpm for the 12.7, and whats the AFR start at? If it drops sharply you can minus 1.25% and should put you back at 13.1:1 nominal for NA WOT performance. You could get knock from the richness at the top if the 12.7 afr matches the Rpm of knock, althought it shouldnt. The timing is on a + / - 10%, or add or minus 2* of timing on WOT. Could also be gas, what octane level you run, and what was the temp.

I am a cheap *** and run 89 octance, but never experinced knock like this. I also just did a plug change to TR6's. Here is a pic of my dyno sheet and you can see the A/F. The red line is w/ the Predator tune installed and the blue w/ the stock tune. [image]http://photo.starblvd.net/~c5kid/1-1-1.jpg?i=1054103862[/image]
