Default How far off will the tune be?

If I swap from a 78mm fast with ported TB to a ported 90/90 setup will I be able to drive it so I can get it tuned? The motor is a 408 and has a good tune on it now with the current intake and TB.

Probably wont be too far off at all. Might need to touch IAC area or RAF, but VE and timing tables should stay the same, unless you were really restricted up top.

you should be fine to cruise it around until you get it retuned but i wouldnt recommend getting on it unless you have a wideband A/F guage and can monitor it

I do have a wideband hooked up so can watch that. As long as I can get down the road to be tuned that is the biggest worry.

Yeah, no issue driving it down the road to get tuned. Ill bet the tune is still very close. The only concern will be your idle since the IAC will be in a different throttle body now. And you might need to make sure youre not running lean up top due to the increased flow at high rpm. Part throttle will probably be right where it was.
