Default Getting knock sensor voltage low, bank 2.

I've been getting a reoccurring code, knock sensor bank 2 low voltage. This is a 99 LS1.

I really havent knowticed any knock recently, but i'm getting this weird surging issue at steady cruse speeds, reguardless of RPM/speed. I also know my trans is slipping, but it could be both.

What should I do here? I'm getting ready to take my intake off this weekend to replace both, but if i can do something else that would be great!

I don't have any tune software.

have you washed your engine lately? the knock sensors are in a pocket under the intake when u wash the engine bay, and some times from the elements, the pockets fill with water and corrode the sensors and the harness. you can replace the sensors and the jumper harness pretty cheaply.

Well I have not washed it recently, but with 115K miles and chicago winters, i'm not suprised i'm having electrical problems!

I had the same issue and it was due to corrosion on the harness where it plugs to the sensor.

another question, can the knock sensors put the vehicle into limp in mode and cause the vehicle not to shift into 3rd gear or get stuck in second gear.
