Service Vehicle AND Air Bag Lights
I fired up my car to head home from work and both the Service Vehicle light AND the Air Bag lights came on. The car seemed to be idling fine, so I let it run for a bit, then shut it off. I cranked it up again and both lights were gone. Reading the owners manual, it said the SV light was a non-emissions related problem. I searched on here and found a few threads, but nothing that answered the question.
I talked to a buddy of mine (W02Ramair) and he thought it might be a low voltage reading, causing the sensors to not respond fast enough when being questioned at startup. He suggested I get my battery and alternator checked. Anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks!
