my tuner told me to have an o2 bung welded in for wideband tune?
i have an off-road y pipe, and am not going to use the rear o2 sensors. having them tuned out. can i just use one of the 2 bungs set up for the rear o2's? or does it have to be behind the y? i was just wondering because that would mean the true duels guys would need 2 wideband sensors? i have a wet shot and its an 02 A4. thanks.

I see, I had the joy of welding one in mine. It really wasn't that bad I got the thick stainless bung.
One question still. Would it be better to put it in after the Y joins so you get an average of each bank?
I had a wideband with one sensor, I have seen some newer ones that use two.
Seems more accurate to put one in each bank and use a wideband with two sensors.

We weld one in all the cars we tune. Put it facing out. It makes it alot faster to put in and take out. We just use one side. I watch the narow bands and make sure all looks good.
