Default Tuning tips needed.

I'm almost finished installation of ported and polished heads "908" , Pacesetter LT headers + Y-pipe, TR 224 112lsa and wideband O2...

I have someone who can tune my car via HPTuners, but he's never tuned a LS1 from scratch.

Any tips that I can pass along to help shave a lot of time off this weekend?

I was told 900rmp for idle is a start, but what else?

get a nice smooth spark table, I can give you mine if you want in excel. Use PE table (power enrichment fueling) to control your AFR. that means that you are going to have to take your Open loop fueling table to a leaner value along with...uh that other table cuz it takes the richer of the 2.

fuel and spark man, thats the base of it... ALWAYS make sure you got fuel. its better to start off rich than lean

To do it RIGHT then your MAF has to be in line with the PE your commanding. If your MAF is tuned right then you dont have to change any fueling tables and then you can make commanded AFR changes alot quicker by a little math using PE.

It's pretty much tuning period in a nut shell. Not really specified for a particular program.

Hey guys, I'm the one who's gonna be tuning his car. I'll be tuning it in open loop like normal and tweeking the VE and Maf to match the PE I am commanding.

I was just wondering if there's anything special to do since he changed the camshaft? I've read a bit on idle airflow adjustments and stuff.

Just looking so trick and tips on cam tuning.
