Default Commanded Afr Does Not = Actual Afr @wot

Im Thinking It Is Either My Ifr Or Maf But Am Not 100% Sure Abotu Etiher

Can Anyone Verify This...

MAF isn't calibrated.

Need to get your VE tables tuned, once those are tuned, turn your MAF back on, disable dynamic airflow lookup(disabling VE lookup), and then run the MAF Error % config on the Hptuners site to get your MAF in line.

Whenever I get some more free time I"m going to write a step by step process on how to get your VE and MAF calibrated.

maf takes over fueling at 4k rpms unless the airflow table was altered through tuning meaning your maf table is probably off over 4k rpms, could be partly due to your ifr table though depending on how accurate it is.

Yep Im Using A Truck Maf And A Table Thats Suppose To Be For A Truck Maf Im Also Using 42lb Injectors And A Table Thats Supposdly For Them

My Ltrims Are Pretty Good (>5%) So Im Guessing My Ifr Is Reasonable ???

this Would Then Lead Me To Believe That I Can Just Edit My Maf Table To Correct For The % Error In My Commanded Afr To My Actual Afr??????

***knowing That This Would In Turn Conseal Any Ifr Errors I Have****

can Any One Confirm All This ...

Yes, as I was saying you need to calibrate your MAF, it's obviously off if your commanded is not what you are seeing. I spent three days solely calibrating my MAF and topped it off yesterday with dyno pulls to make sure every thing was matching. Prior to me doing this, my car was commanding like 11.5 AFR and really doing 12.8.

If you have HPtuners you can find out how to do this on their site.

Yea I Think The Method Above Will Work For Calibrating My Maf, I Just Need To Upgrade To A Eio Before I Can Log My Wideband Against My Maf Freq

Just run a analog wire to your EGR wire coming off your computer and log EGR voltage and bingo you save $300!

It seems harder than it really is. Once you read through the material then you should catch on real easy.

Does a 2002 even have EGR? I thought they got rid of EGR in 1999-2000?

EDIT: I guess not?

You are right they did not but all you have to do is enable it through HPTuners to use the voltage output but make sure all the EGR tables are zeroed out and the codes are turned off.

Thats a problem. Are they green top injectors? U need to get a flow rate at what BAR/PSI that they were rated at is what im trying to get to. Without that you wont be able to get a accurate IFR table.
