This thing solved my MAF porting high rpm ping!!

solved my High rpm ping due to lean condition after porting my MAF. 1K ohm resistor soldered in.... makes it see the right amount of air and corrects the fuel accordingly.

Re: This thing solved my MAF porting high rpm ping!! The resistor actually tricks your MAF in to reporting more air than it actually "sees"
Being porting your MAF causes your MAF to "see" less air adding a resitor will negate the lean effects of porting your MAF.
An MAF translator or LS1 edit can do the same
