Default Question about torque management

I hope this is in the right spot if not I apologize. I have a 2004 corvette. It has the 3:15 gear ratio in it and a vararam cold air intake. When I leave the line the car feels like it is about to die and just sits there and about a half second later it shoots out. I had a buddy of mine drive it and he said he had a 02 vette that did the same thing and it was his torque management. Is there a way to remove this. I really dont have the money to have a EFI Live or HP tuners installed on it. Any info would be greatly appericiated. Thanks guys

sounds like you have the traction control on to me. The torque management comes on during the shift. Only way you can remove it or reduce it is to get EFI or HP. I just lowered it on my vette. Some people say if ya remove all of it you can damage the tranny so I left some in.
