I thought the same, that it wasn't possible....we've seen this issue from two of the largest volume LS1 crank manufacturers out there. It can happen! None the less, let me know if I can help walk yo through checking that. I'll be glad to assist!

Can you run an external crank trigger with the factory setup? I would guess not but figured it would be worth asking if it cam down to it.

Op what ended up being the culprit of your problem? I'm experiencing a very similar problem. However my engine is not firing on 1,7,4, or 6. As mentioned from the Texas speed guy that posted. Problem is the cam was purchased from them and balanced by them. I will be calling them again first thing in the morning for sure.

I need help
I swaped my 5.3 engine out my 2002 Tahoe and put in a 4.8 from 2007 Tahoe I know the relucter wheel might be a problem but if they are the same which will be the 24x will it work and if they are different will it start and all I got to do is a flash the connectors are different so I swapped the cps also if I disconnect the neutral safety switch will it cause a no spark. I Know it don't crank
