Default EFILive to HP Tuners Purchase

I currently have the EFILIve V1 package that I use on both my Trans Ams. Since both my cars just had bolt ons at the time, I bought EFILive for the little things like fan setting and shift firmness. After my h/c upgrades on my 99 TA the tuning has gone well beyond my understanding and capabilities.

It seems though that in my area, the tuners use HPTuners. This creates a slight issue with them sending me a tuned "base line" so I can drive the car again.

Also I have noticed it seems that HPTuners has a better repository of tuner files out there that can be used to get ideas from.

Rather then upgrade to the EFILIve V2, I was thinking to swapping over to HPTuners.

Do any of the LS1Tech sponsors offer any type of competitive upgrade pricing?

While we don't offer a trade in or upgrade price from coming from efilive many of our resellers offer discounts on shipping, future credit purchases, etc. if you purchase through them. If you have any questions along the way whether you purchase through us directly or through a reseller please don't hesitate to ask.

Just learn how to tune it yourself, you already have the software. Someonelse's base tune will still need to be adjusted for your mods, altitude, driving habits, ect. I learned how to tune mine. It just takes some time and patience. When I got my Procharger I got it with a base tune and the car ran like crap, all I used was the high octane spark table. After 6 months I even ditched that. I started out not knowing a damn thing about tuning.
