VE tuning - LTFT question
I finally received HP tuners, and I'm going to start the logging/tuning process on the VE table by using the SD mode as described in the Tuning 101 document. My question is, can I skip that first deletion of the LTFTs and hour of so of driving and just use the LTFTs that are already there? Are those values stored in the computer somewhere, or are they only obtained through logging a histogram? I've searched on here and looked through the tables in the editor, but I'm not sure where they are stored. Thanks!

Their current state is mostly MAF-based unfortunately, and in SD you will be looking at the VE table instead, so you must move over to SD and reset fuel trims in the scanner BEFORE you begin logging their re-learn process in SD. The scanner needs to be your study focus most likely at this point. This is where you will log the various bits of data coming and going while the control system is active and will make for the basis of many to most changes while tuning.
