Default 4l60e -23 Shift

Hey, '01 ss new 4l60e. i have 2-3 shift backed down to 3500 rpm and 50 mph to try and keep this thing off the limiter. all the changes do nothing. wants to shift at 6300 and 75mph every time! If i use my tech2 to command the 2-3 shift it will shift at any rpm or mph i command. I feel it's definitely calibration, but where? also 2800 vig,3.73, rpm trans. thanx, bob oh yeah, i've attached my tune

Well, I'm far from an expert but here's a few ideas.

#1. With your scanner, can you confirm that you're actually WOT, or over 94% TPS, as you have your Full Throttle Enable set at 94%?

#2. Under the Part Throttle "Performance" section, you have all of your shifts commanded at 222mph. I'd look into changing this to closer align it with the rest of your trans shift tables.

I'd start with these.

I agree, put your part throttle shifts at 100% tps the same as your wot table, also my car would do the same thing when I left the shifter in Drive, it only shifts consistent when in Overdrive, something to do with the overrun clutch when in drive.

Check and make sure your fluid level in the trans is good and full. Otherwise it's probably a mechanical problem, more than likely the third gear clutches. I was having the same problem last year and I think it was caused by the fluid level being 1 qt low. I have to check it out this year, but I've had some rear end issues that are now fixed, hopefully. I was told on the forums that it was probably a mechanical issue. Good luck.
