hey im trevor, newbie, 19years old..
have a 70 chevelle. i pulled a motor out of a 2000 silverado.. 6.0 4l80e. pulled all the wiring harness even inside the dash. i put the truck dash in my car too. it lights up and works.. says security,check engine oil level, and picture of the battery,and low coolant.. check enginge light. have one o2 sensor hooked up. cars fires up for bout 2-3 seconds then dies immeditly.. turn it over again , same thing.. wat could it be? how would i unlock the security or even get rid of it? suggestions..also i only have a s-10 pump from a 4 cylinder. 1998 or 2000..made a fuel cell .. return line always have gas flowing threw it. is that normal..

VATS, need to have the pcm tunned with VATS disabled. Or have a good remote start guy come over and take care of it for you.

i still have the whole dash to the truck. i ripped out the key system from the sterring colum. there were 2 wires going to a swith type thing. just push a ****.. then there was 3 wires going to a plug in on the key assembly. look like they had resistors in them. is this the vats??? i tried lookin for the orange wire.. didnt find it.. i cant find it!!!

you can't just rewire it, it needs the body control module also, just get the PCM fixed to disable VATS. If everything is there you could try to do a relearn on the theft system

i bought the hptuners sys.. so it should be here in a few days.. im goin to need it anyways to tune with turbo's.. so i'll just delete it then.. thanks for ya help
