Default Best Wideband for Hp Tuners STD version?

I would like to get away with getting a gauge and use the laptop/hptuners to display the AFR, am I able to do this with the std version? If not what the best wideband to use?

does your dongle thing have ports where you can plug stuff into?

I recommend Dean @ Dynotunenitrous I believe he is still a sponsor up here, but thats just My opinion, he hooked me up so what do you expect me to do

grab you the innovative LC-1 (for just your car) or LM-1 if you plan on tuning others also

After two years of fighting with the worthless LC1 and having the unit replaced twice, I finally gave up and bought a Dynojet Wideband Commander. It's an absolute breeze to wire, no finicky grounds, and it works flawlessly with my standard version of HPTuners (using the EGR circuit for logging).

I have the LC-1 screwed into the front O2 bung feeding the narrow band input to the engine and the wideband to the Egr pin on the PCM. No problems yet.

i found a writeup a few days ago that i will have to find, it was great.
it showed how to use the AC presure switch wire to hook up to a wideband sensor to provide HP tuners STD the information from reading the AC presure switch PID to give AFR.

it was definately custom but worked.
but it meant no using AC while scanning Wideband with HPT.

if you are intrested i can dig that article up at.

EDIT: Found it: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1705471

My LC-1 has worked fine for a couple years.
Initially had problems but one RMA later and grounding it to the head and I log through HPT and EGR.
I couldn't beat it for the price.
