Default I need diagnostic help

I have a 2000 TA WS6. My check engine lamp is on. I have two codes P0171(fuel trim system lean, bank 1) and
P0174(fuel trim system lean, bank 2). I have a tech2 scan tool, but don't see anything wrong with sensor values(that I know of). Anybody a tech out there that knows what's going on that can help me. Thanks alot.........

No I haven't. I've seen what seems like a lot of people talking about defective MAFs and these codes but it seems to me it should be further down the line, like an O2 sensor or something......

since both are showing lean conditions, i find it hard to believe they bolh died at the same time.

Something that effects what goes into the motor, would be more likely to give a low output for both sides.

low fuel pressure, clogged filter, or dying pump could cause this problem. There are a few other things too, but im not sure off the top of my head.

Just my $.02.

Ryan.
