Vehicle Explorer diagnostic s/w over USB I can't get my Care Code Vehicle Explorer logging software to work with a serial to USB adapter. I worked fine with my old pc and an RS232 port but I just get a busy signal - can't connect error when trying to log on to my car through the USB port.
I've changed the port number to reflect the USB port but no luck.
Anyone been able to run this through USB?

Not using this software but I think the first thing
is to go look at the old RS-232 settings and make
sure these are duplicated on the port side of the
USB adaptor. Bit rate, parity and stop bits / flow
control etc., any of them different than expected
will mess it up.
