Default Reprograming PCM using LS1 edit & HPP3

Hi Everyone;

Please excuse this very novice question.

When you reprogram your PCM using LS1 edit, or HPP3, and months down the road your battery dies, do you have to do the reprograming all over? or does the PCM keep the settings that you have changed?

Thanks in advance.

The PCM keeps the settings that you programmed in.

Thank you so much for the information.
What settings then are people talking about when they pull 2 fuses, and the PCM has to re learn itself?

That will just reset the pcm. It will have to relean your driving habits and it will reset any codes you have. When you program it you are changing the code in the PCM so its changed untill you change it again.

Hope that helps.\
