Default 2002 6.0 code help

I've seen a few posts about this but none with a good answer. I have 2002 2500HD 6.0. Its throwing a PO342B code. I have not seen anything with the "B" part. I replaced the CMP and it still did it. I Checked all the conections made sure no terminals were loose. No tears, burns or cuts on the wiring. This is the only code it throws. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you check wiring? OR fuses?

That is a code saying that the cam sensor is not sending out ANY signal. Usually it means that a wire is cut somewhere, or the sensor itself is not recieving power.

Did this code just start showing up, or had you made changes to the engine? Did you notice any damage on the sensor when you changed it? The error can be caused by Camshaft reluctor wheel damage or the sensor coming in contact with the reluctor wheel. If you don't see any physical evidence, you will likely have to break out a DMM and test the circuits to find the fault.

Yes I checked wiring. As far as fuses the cig lighter fuse was popped but thats the only one I checked because my scanner was not getting power. It is a bone stock 2500HD Im working on for a friend while he is on vacation. Is there a fuse that is one the same circuit as the cam sensor? Thanks for the help fellas
