Drowned

The local track is pretty bad... no traction period. When I launch my car, I spin the tires and when I try to ease the throttle to stop the spinning it will shift into second gear, bogging down the run... is there a way to fix this using HP tuners? I'm new to HP tuners and I'm still reading a lot on tuning this transmission but I don't like the idea of leaving it in first gear to avoid this so I thought maybe there's a quick fix already out there?
