Default Anyone know the airflow calibration table for SLP MAF?

Like many people, I foolishly ported, polished and de-screened my stock MAF. Since the SLP MAF is borrowed from a GM truck, the airflow table must be available for this unit. I know SLP added a resistor across the sensors that will easily unsolder. If the correct airflow values are inserted in the MAF table in LS1Edit, will it be possible to have a properly calibrated MAF using the SLP MAF?

the truck maf and the zo6 maf are calibrated differently. check the part number and verify, i don't know which one slp starts with but if you take out the restistor then you can put in whichever one is correct for the part number.. this is a 2001 ls6 maf calibration

Cool data. Do you have any other MAFs' (like the
stocker?) cal tables?

Don't suppose anyone out there has a schematic of
the MAF guts, the hot wire control loop innards?
Would like to figure out just what the external
resistor is doing where it shows up, and what
it might do across other legs of the bridge.

why is it foolish to port out and polish the stock maf?

You change the flow across the total face,
relative to the flow that cools the wires.
The frequency per face airflow then drops,
the PCM believes it is getting less air than
it really is, and you have a lean fuel shot
calculation & resulting mix.

Since every hand-port is different, it's
semi-likely that somebody might provide you
the cal table you need to represent the
port work's effect.

The port work might net you some flow/MAP
improvement but the question is whether you
can see it at your working RPM*VE, and if
you can fix the tuning error it produces to
get a net positive result.

Hey, MightyMouse, thanks a ton! I will check out the part #'s and try to verify if these values apply. Great information, what would we do without these message boards?
