how do you test the idle air sensor??

Default how do you test the idle air sensor??

How do you test the idle air sensor??? I pulled it out and cleaned all the dirt and junk off of it. Is there a way to test it and see if it is sending a signal out to the computer??

Absolutely; you can log both commanded and actual position.

Are you talking IAT (Inlet Air Temp) sensor or IAC (Idle
Air Control) actuator?

plug it in and unscrew it from the TB. Push it all the way in. Turn the car to on, it should move.
