LS1 cam/stall - idling/sputtering after transport from NC to IL
So I picked up the Sonoma with the LS1 swap in the classifieds...
Truck has a TR224 cam and a 3200 stall
Drove GREAT while I was in NC
Drove great all the 700 mile trip home until I hit a light 5 minutes from my house and loaded up the converter to about 2500 rpm to get in front of a car. I let out on the brake and gave gas and it fell flat on its face, died, restarted itself wouldn't hold idle all the way to my house, had to ride around with my foot on the brake giving it some gas.
Shut it off, 10 minutes later restarted and it idled fine. However now when I give it any sudden throttle increases in 1st it will fall on its face throw a CEL and go through the idle problems again.
Also noticed if I make it through 1st and 2nd when it shifts into 3rd it will just rev like it hit neutral.
It ran FINE in NC... get it back and now this?
Any ideas?
Could the altitude change have that dramatic an effect? I just unplugged the battery to reset the ECU, so we'll see if that does anything for it...

Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed that its in the tune itself. Taking it to a local tuner in about a half hour to see whats up and what he can do.

Narrowed it down to a loose power wire/ground hopefully, just have to find it now. Seems that the electrical system cuts out when the gas is "hit" rather than gradually laid into.
It would shut off his computer through the ECM Port and shut the radio off as well, anyone know waht those would both go through in the wiring so that I can narrow down a section to look for a loose power/ground?
