Default Sticks in OpenLoop after PE

this all starts yesterday i had 50psi fuel pressure at wot so i put a racetronix pump in it. much improved @ 60psi wot. so i rechecked the afr
and it was 12.0. was 12.9 before the pump. so i changed the
PE multipler vs RPM and got it back to 12.9 runs great no codes but it stays in open loop after it hits PE why? it did not do that before. the only other changes i made were for the gear change to 3:42s and moved the timing up
4* this car does have a hacked OS with lean cruise if that makes a differnce

COT is one open loop mode you might get stuck in for a
while after you get on it. Similar to stock power enrichment
values (EQ=1.25) and persistent.

i am thinking the LC has something to do with this. i put the before LC tune in
in the roadrunner today and put in in the car. needs to be friday again so i have time to play.
i have read LC is more trouble than it is worth, (greg banish). ed wright told me the same thing on another forum.

Is the wideband sensor really close to the motor? Such that
the EGT might be pushing it out of cal, too hot?

When you say it is still open loop, are you going by the WB
reading or by the commanded EQ value?

no the wide band is in the i-pipe at the pass. rear seat. open loop is the status on the scanner and afr in the 13s vs 16.5 LC
