Default what do you think hp and hypertech

So in 2005 I bought and installed the hypertech power programmer on my 98 ls1 and then put it on the shelf and finally found it after 3 yrs....but since then a buddy used hp tuners on it to do more stuff to it......so since i found hypertech programmer today i set it back to stock to sell it.... do you think it will mess up hp tuners tune?

Exclamation

It put your car back to stock. You do mean you plugged it in your car , and set the Hyper to stock settings, right.

If I remember correctly when you first plug it in it "stores" your stock tune - then you download the new HPP3 settings. When you return it to stock it puts your original tune back in. Friend of mine had HPP3 in his, had codes deleted by a shop after removing air and egr (forgot about the HPP3). Decided not to use it anymore and sell it. After returning it to stock the codes came back and he had to have them turned off again.

Yes, this will erase whatever tune is on your PCM currently.
