Tuning for a stall converter
I don't want my TC to lock up until 50 mph or so in 4th. But now it locks up in 3rd and low RPMs in 4th. I have no idea how to change this in Edit. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: Tuning for a stall converter
you can raise the lockup MPH in one of the transmission tabs, I am not sure about the gear lockup though. I have been wondering how to keep it form locking up in 3rd at all...

Re: Tuning for a stall converter
If you don't want it to lockup in 3rd, raise all the values in the TCC tables, for 3rd apply, to 255(too high a speed for lockup). For other gears change the speed to the desired lockup speed. The numbers in the tables are mph and across the top % TP. If you never want the TC to lockup until 50mph then put 50 across the board in the 4th apply, up to 75% then 255 the rest of the way.

Re: Tuning for a stall converter
So if I dont want it to lock up at all in 3rd, I should set the MPH vs. %TPS for 255 in 3rd gear all the way across the %TPS lines? Same thing goes for the release I guess? And I guess I need to do it in the Normal, Performance, and Cruise tables just the same...
Basically I could just copy the 2nd gear settings over to the 3rd gear values...?
