what are the advantages to speed density tuning over regular tuning?

Default what are the advantages to speed density tuning over regular tuning?

besides gettin rid of the maf. ive ben thinking of getting a speed density tune.
are there any gains/ advantages over normal tuning?

if nothing else it's the best base for a MAF tune. because the MAF reads steady state air flow very well but sucks at transitions a proper SD tune is the correct starting point for either one. as you said tho no matter what they say the MAF is a restriction in the intake path. it's very time consuming and somewhat hard to get a SD nailed down but it's very possible to have it run really well, even with temperature changes, if the Intake Charge Bias is calibrated right

I noticed I got better throttle response.....and if you ever blow off an intercooler pipe...your car will still run
