Default Any reason to buy the HSW Nitrous controller if i already have EFI Live COS5?

Hey guys,

Just a quick question.

Im getting ready to throw a dry hit on my 98 daily driver. I was going to buy the HSW nitrous controller, but then got to thinking..... i already own EFI Live and maybe i could use COS5 to achieve the same results?

Also... i plan on throwing 42lb injectors in there. Is all i need to do is scale my existing injector flow rate table?

For example... stocks are 28, so multiply every value by 1.5, and then im good to go?

I have little to no experience with EFI Live. I have read through the tutorials a bit but never used it much or spent much time with it afterwards so nothing ever sank in.

Unless you swap in a 99+ PCM into your 98, you can't use COS5

Not really if you know what you are doing. If you send me your harness I can re-pin it and setup a start up tune for the new pcm that you could use with your EFI Live for $550 shipped to your door.

Once i get a little more serious about the car i will keep that in mind.

I have never removed a harness out of a car. How involved it is?
