Default Air Check Valve help

Hey guys, how do you switch out the air check valve? I need to replace mine and I want to know what im doing. Is it just a undo the one and install the other? I've never done this before so any help would be appreciated!!

The valves on each side that are in between the metal air pipe coming off the exhaust manifold and connect to the air hose? Just release the hose clamp, pull hose off, then unscrew the valve using 2 wrenches - one to hold the metal pipe steady, one to unscrew the valve. Don't know which side you're doing, passenger side is easier.

Quick question, how do you check if these valves are bad?

They'll throw the SES light. If the drivers side fails P1415, passenger side P1416. If both fail P0410, or could be something else. When I had P1416 the valve was clogged with carbon deposits, replaced it and has been fine.
