lights flicker when car is cold ?

lights flicker when car is cold ? My 02 WS6 has a problem with the head lights and dash lights flickering when the car is cold ? Once it worms up the problem going away ? Anyone know what the problem could be . I just don't understand why it would only do it when it's cold

Its shivering trying to warm up.
Sorry, had to do it. I have never owned my car with the air pump system on it so I don't have the problem. That's probably what it is.

My lights flickered for about a year before I found out it was the alternator. The voltage regulator inside of it apparently can't be tested and after rebuilding the original, rewiring, and lots of research, a new (remanufactured) alternator solved the problem for me.
