Pics of my T/A
Got back from college last night so I washed the car this morning. I forgot how big this car is. Its very wide and long. Also forgot about how much lower the top of the front bumper is than the hood (how curved it is) and how slanted the windshield is. Its like the car is new. However, the lm1 exhaust is quieter than i remembered.
Anyways heres the pics:
Autox that was on my birthday in july
Friends rx8
I have a lid, slp lm1, and corsa clones. Thinking about getting g2 springs on oem shocks this christmas. Anyone heard of someone doing this?

thanks guys. yeah, i have thought about ceta. im not sure if it would look as good without nightshade and black rims on a bright red t/a. i think it looks good without black wheels in pics but i'd have to see it in person.

fourthcircledesigns, its a decal. they are fully customizable. the chrome actually matches the wheel. only cost $8 ($10 for chrome) and shipment's within a week (good considering custom make when you order) too.
EDIT: I meant it gets to you within a week.

Love the Bright Red! Don't see a lot that color in my area, mostly Black, Silver and Pewter.
I agree about doing the lower rear valance in Satin Black (ie CETA) and I don't think you would need to put nightshade on your taillights either for it to look good. The honeycomb is a design that I always love to see and is only on our cars. (afaik)

^ thanks. yeah same here.
i find it funny how people seem to buy a car in the same color everyone else has. not dissing anyone here with black, just talking about the people who don't know much about cars and ask the salesman what a good car is.
i may consider ceta this christmas break.

Looks sharp, but definitely needs a Ram Air Hood. I was in the same boat. Mine was a Base TA as they didn't offer the WS6 in Maple Red Metallic. I could only rock the "Sleak Beak" for so long before I got a hood. In fact, the hood was my FIRST mod, even before a lid.
Add the CETA and you'll be all set in the apperance department.

But seriously, the car will ride really choppy, the stock shocks struggle to damp the stock springs, making them work harder with higher springs rates and less travel is not a good idea. If you are dong it just for looks, then so be it. But if you are aiming for performance you need to upgrade the biggest issues first, and that would be the stock shocks.

^ Its purely for looks. However, I think I might wait until the summer and get shocks as well. I want ride quality to be at least about the same as stock.

^ yeah, there are a lot more corvettes and ws6s here than plain ol T/As. I honestly think the firebird hood is underrated. It isn't "flat", its curved and looks sleek and helps with the areodynamic look of the car. If I upgrade, it would be a firehawk hood hands down, but it costs so much and then might not match perfect. Im going to wait and when (If) i repaint the car 10 years from now, I'll get one.
