Thanks for the compliments guys!
The only reasons I have/had doubts is because it's been in a wreck and the title says, "Firebird Form". But again, I just got into 4th gens and don't know the tricks to tell.

On both of my titles they say formula/trans am. Even on the insurance it says that. Not sure why? But the difference is the trans am has ground effects and a different front and rear bumper. The formula is for someone who likes the look of the v6 models but are not a fan of the v6. Other than appearance they are the same car. Very nice trans am i perfer trans am over formulas but a firehawk over both.

Oh ok.
The only other doubt is that someone said 96 Trans Ams weren't available in hardtop. Any truth to that?

Only LS1 `98 -up cars had T-tops standard.
I know a guy with a hardtop `96 WS6 Trans Am.
And as for the titles and insurance papers saying Formula/Trans Am.
This is because their information is based off the Vin number and the Vin's are not model specific The Vin verifies that the car is a V8 Firebird only.
The RPO codes are the only true way to identify the model.
W66= Formula
Y82= Trans Am
Y83= Trans Am GT (1994 only)
Y84= Trans Am Convertible
