Default One dark light

I have the infamous one dark light PITA going on. God i hate it. The driver's side is perfectly clear. The passenger's side, of course fills with water and is now darker. What causes this? Moisture? So how can you fix it? Can i put it in the oven for a certain amount of time and then re-seal it? Any guides on how to re-seal every conceivable opening to prevent it in the future for sure?

If your talking about the taillights yes its water/moisture. That causes the reflective coating to come off and give a "dim" look. I was able to stop the moisture by just resealing the taillight seams with silicone.

p.s..... once its dim the only way to fix it is to replace it. But put silicone on first!

If its the taillights it could also be a bad ground or corroded socket for the bulbs. You can get new sockets cheap or i just wired up some new ground wires for all of them, fixed my problem.

Default dark light

it is moisture and for some reason it always seems to be the passenger side one. i know mine is and it drives me nuts to look at it. and they are expensive to replace.
