Default Flowmaster? Flowtech? Magnaflow?

I've been looking at changing the muffler on my car, looking for a deep sound nothing ricer. Under $80 if possible. I have the 3.4L V6. No point in preaching about modding a V6 because changing the muffler is all I plan on doing. At high revs it has a tin can sound due to it being clamped, exhaust leak.
So whats the best muffler? A guy over at Advance Autoparts(bleh) told me the Flowmasters were good. What do you guys think would be best in my price range? They also had the Flowtech Terminator which I know nothing about but it was $67.

Well I'm open to any recommendations, doesn't matter if it was in my thread title. A model name would be awesome to for some specification so I can narrow my search. Thanks for the replies.

Ah, seems to be a mix of opinions on here. If a flowmaster, what kind? And the same with the Magnaflow?
Ahh confused on what to do.

What did you need to get I have a Magnaflow catback and bent a tip called them up minute latter had a price and shipping eta. Obviously its going to be high having to order direct from them but I deal with magnaflow a pretty semi daily basis because of work and they have been more helpful than other vendors I have to call .

My buddy had flowmaster on his TA and it sounded like butt. They sound ok on mustangs but not on F bodys IMO. Try listening to some clips on youtube and streetfire then make a decision.

i had one of my mounts tear into the muffler, i took it to the shop where i had purchased the kit since magnaflow will NOT deal directly to the public. The shop told me to contact magnaflow on the lifetime warranty so i did... magnaflow told me to and talk to the shop about replacement. So it may have been a mix up but what really pissed me off was the fact that magnaflow told me that i had to purchase a new kit, pay for shipping for the new kit sent from cali, and pay for the other kit to be sent back.

at the end of the day it took 2 days talking to magnaflow and my shop (sponsor on here) and magnaflow finally paid for shipping and did not charge me up front for a new kit.

What kind of Magnaflow? Like a specific type, or should I just go to my local autopart shop and see what Magnaflow's they have that fit my car?
I listened to some clips on youtube and streetfire of my exact car with a flowmaster....and I immediately wanted to go to the China Manor for some rice.
So, magnaflow it is I suppose. And what's all your opinion of Flowtech?

I looked up the Flowtech Terminator on some other V6's and it actually sounds pretty nice, 10x better than the flowmaster. But I really have no idea what to even look for in the magnaflows/

I had a magnaflow catback on my 96 bird and it was ok but wasnt a deep v8 type of sound

However I heard a flowmaster 80 series two chamber(if I remember correctly) and it was on a 3.4 or 3.1 2004 grand am and it sounds awesome for a 6 cylinder. It had a nice deeper tone and backfired a bit and sounded good. So that gets my vote.

I have flowmasters that came on the car when I got it, I don't really recommend. They sound alright but I kinda wish I could just switch it to stock and just have an electric cut out before or just replace the whole catback (cha-ching cha-ching). They sound real loud and thats about it, and get raspy at times.

ive had 2 v6 cars, had a flowmaster on one and it sounded ok at idle but soon as you get to bout 3500 compete *** sound, had a gutted cat with a z28 take off muffler and it kept a decent tone, liked it much more and it was even free
